Aaron Bentley (he/him) spent the first 12 years of his legal career at private law firms, including four years as a partner at Belzley, Bathurst, and Bentley, a Louisville, Kentucky firm focused on prisoners’ rights and police misconduct litigation.
Now, he’s using his expertise fighting for the civil rights of people caught in the criminal justice system as consultant to prisoner’s rights and police misconduct lawyers across the country. He is delighted to work with Deb Golden and her extraordinary team at Golden Law, where he specializes in constitutional cases.
A graduate of the University of Indiana’s McKinney School of Law and Eastern Kentucky State University, Aaron now lives with his wife, Sarah, and their two dogs in Richmond, Kentucky. He spends his free time scavenging for vintage clothing and home decor for their brick-and-mortar vintage clothing business, True Heart Vintage.
Aaron is admitted to the Kentucky Bar, and when practicing in DC, he is fully supervised by members of the DC Bar.
