Avery Tait (they/them) has been working in a client services capacity for six years: first as a paralegal and then as a public benefits navigator. As a paralegal, Avery worked on workers’ rights, disability rights, and immigrants’ rights cases, serving as the main point of contact for clients and their needs. As a public benefits navigator, Avery assisted hundreds of clients in enrolling in Medicaid, DC Alliance, and other public benefit programs. Avery’s passion for redressing and preventing harm prompted them to return to the legal field, and ultimately brought them to Golden Law. Outside of work, Avery enjoys singing (primarily in the car), reading, and spending time with their loved ones.
